Capital Increase of Piraeus Leasing Beograd
At the end of June 2010 Piraeus Leasing Belgrade increased its Share Capital by 750,000 euros. The new shareholder is Piraeus Bank Belgrade, so now the total Capital of Piraeus Leasing is 2.75 million euros.In this way, it was confirmed the commitment of the company in its business operation in the Serbian market and its plans for further expansion.
The result of this Capital increase for the clients of Piraeus Leasing will be more attractive offers which will include a complete range of leasing services and favorable conditions of payment, flexible repayment plan and full control of costs.
Commenting on operating results during the first half of 2010, the director of Piraeus, Piraeus Leasing and Piraeus Rent Konstantinos Tsiolis, said:
"Piraeus Leasing from month to month, recorded a slight increase in volume of business. The largest number of lease agreements related to the purchase of passenger vehicles, also there has been a slight growth in the procurement of equipment, while the less demand recorded in construction machinery and transport vehicles. Piraeus Leasing and Piraeus Rent will be present in the BG Car Show, held in Belgrade from 8 to 14 March, and will introduce new products and special fair conditions of financial and operational leasing addressed to physical persons, companies and entrepreneurs.
Piraeus Leasing will offer attractive products for the financing of new vehicles at very attractive interest rates, with repayment period up to five years and with the participation of 20%. These special fair conditions of Piraeus Leasing will apply not only during the Car Show, but until the end of March.
In addition, a special advantage to buy a car through Piraeus Leasing, with smaller monthly installments also, is the possibility of contracting a part of the value of the leased object as residual value. Namely, the remaining value, which depends on the repayment period, ranges from 20% to 35% of the net value of the vehicle, the customer will pay it after the expiration of the lease contract.
For example, if the client decides to purchase a vehicle with a net value of 10,000 euros, with a nominal interest rate of 5.99% (EIR is 8.23%), for a repayment period of 60 months and with participation of 20% on the gross value of the car, the monthly installment will be 153 euros, which is 30 euros monthly less compared to the standard offer. The remaining value of the vehicle, at the amount of 2,000 euros will be paid upon the expiration of the leasing contract.
Piraeus Rent on this occasion will present also the additional benefits that apply to the service of “Fleet Management“, which means full control of costs, i.e. including Casco insurance, registration and regular servicing of vehicles and change of tires through a network of authorized car dealers.
In the stand of Piraeus Leasing and Piraeus Rent in Hall 1 in Belgrade Fair, all interested visitors will be able to receive additional information about the products and services for financial and operating leasing (rent).

Piraeus Rent doo Belgrade at the beginning of February, expanded its products, by offering also Fleet Management. The new product, which is offered only to legal entities (companies), implies, except the long term renting of passenger vehicles, a complete package of Fleet Management services.
Managing fleet means that the client, for the time that he chooses, enjoy specialized services using vehicles. The user of this product has full control of services costs, which include registration, Casco insurance and regular servicing of vehicles and tires through a network of authorized service partners (car dealers).
